My cat was stretched-out in a cute way this morning, so I took a quick picture. Then, camera still in hand, the light coming through the kitchen window caught my eye.  I decided to take some shots of objects in my kitchen, just as they were.

 A few fun prop finds last week.  Mohawk hat from Heartfelt Gifts.  Handmade feather headband from Chloe's Closet.  And "Cocky Funglasses" from Savers.  At first I thought I'd found something really exotic from Australia, but then I saw the "Cost Plus" sticker under the thrift store sticker.  Oh well, they are still cool.

Sometimes I get a little carried away with styling and artistry and have a hard time doing a straight headshot.  I've worked with this family several times, but for this last session, they just needed a simple headshot for their LA manager. Of course, I couldn't resist capturing some moody shots, and some playful ones...

I worked with this boy yesterday who is hoping to get a talent agent.  He's currently performing in The Winter's Tale in Berkeley.  I haven't seen him on stage, but I think it's pretty evident from his photos that he's going places.
