this time the glasses stay on

 Last shoot with this JE Talent cutie, we couldn't use his glasses because they turned into sunglasses outdoors.  Now he has "actors' glasses" and we could photograph him with glasses in their full glory.  As you can tell, it was never a dull moment at this shoot.

 This high school sophomore has been studying acting and dance and would like to get an agent and get into tv and film.  I loved working with him and feel like he could do it all!

Had a session yesterday with a cute little 3 year old boy from Stars. Big brother came along and acted as my wrangler. So, of course he couldn't stay behind camera for the whole session.

rainy day cancellations

Heavy rain today, two shoots rescheduled.  But of course, some photography still happens.  Same tree, different digital filters, all shot through the moon roof of my car.

Did this shoot in Stern Grove with a young actress (signed with JE Talent).  She wears glasses, so we did some looks without, some with, and some with her glasses down on her nose.   Glasses are tricky.  Even anti-reflectives pick up some reflection/color cast. but without glasses, people sometimes get a kind of unfocused, faraway look in their eyes. If anyone has any good tips, let me know.   It's interesting how different this girl looks with/without glasses.  She reminds me of the character Hermione Granger in the shots where she has pigtails and is wearing the navy blue cardigan.
