Yesterday I found myself with an hour to kill in a mostly residential section of the Sunset.  What to do?  I looked ahead and what did I see?  The Pacific Ocean!  I was delighted to encounter a little lean-to made from rusty box-springs, covered with seagrass. I thought the bottle of rum on the roof was a nice touch. The crows were patrolling the area pretty aggressively, so it might have belonged to them.

This young lady is an aspiring actress who works with Giovannie Espiritu.  We met for a headshot session, but I felt like she could also do print work , so I did some fashion looks as well.

As some of you know, I like to balance my "perfect" photos of beautiful children with some nitty gritty, imperfect street photos.   I feel they have their own allure and beauty.  I take most of these shots with my iphone, from my car window, or maybe with my lens baby.  Cheap tricks?  "White people" hipster fad photos? Sure, but I get instant gratification! It fills a need.
