new portfolio

I went to a workshop recently on making photography books, put on by Blurb. As an incentive to create a book, all participants were given a code to get one free book using Blurb. Well, the deadline is about up and I'm not quite done, but I'm getting there. I think I've settled on my cover shot. This little girl is with a top agency in NYC and happens to be the daughter of one of my dearest friends.

My son hasn't had a new comp card made in two years! Finally, finally, today I spent some time shooting with him to put together a new card. It was a very warm day for San Francisco and as you can see I had a little fun with the styling...

Maz

I had the pleasure of photographing some talented actors at a recent table read (for a pilot) in Burbank. Among them was the stand-up comedian Maz Jobrani. If you haven't already heard his hilarious act, you should check him out:

This young actress, Amara, has been gracing the Bay Area stages for years, but is still unsigned. Her mother decided she needed professional headshots, happened upon my website by surfing the web, and gave me a ring. It just so happened that I knew of an open part for a pilot and thought Amara would be perfect. Well, this weekend she's headed to LA to do the table read. So, keep an eye out for this talented girl- you might be seeing her on TV.

I took some photos Friday night at a gorgeous mansion on Hayes Street. The event was a celebration for the graduating Creative Writing seniors at the School of the Arts. The girls were all dressed-up so I captured a few details to show off the pizazz!
